“We’re so lucky to be a part of San Jose Day Nursery. This unassuming center is bubbling over with love, nurturing care, and a curriculum that encourages learning through exploration and fun. Our daughter looks forward to going to school every day. The teachers observe the children’s natural curiosities and encourage their development through interesting activities and play. The curriculum adjusts to the children, not vice versa, which is so refreshing in this age of rigid standards. Our daughter has emerged from shyness by learning to be strong and assertive and communicate effectively with her peers and teachers. She has also learned to share and be sensitive and empathetic. The teachers and staff have an amazing ability to diffuse typical childhood conflicts lovingly and respectfully. I feel like our entire family benefits from the educational philosophy of the school. SJDN does an amazing job of caring for and educating children in a way that respects who they are as individuals while teaching them to work cooperatively in a group. The children learn so much, and more importantly, they are excited to learn. It’s amazing how much fun it is. My only complaint is that our daughter will have to leave when it’s time for kindergarten!”
